Irish Sayings - Today is March 17th a.k.a. Saint Patrick's Day and this day is devoted to all the Erse group around the humans. It doesn't weigh if you are Gaelic or not, as they say "Everyone's Land on Dissent 17th." Reverence Patrick's Day was originally titled after the patron saints of Hibernia, Saint Apostle. Though it was a light christian holiday to line with, these life it has gradually transformed into author of a secular solemnisation of Ireland's culture.

There are numerous Irish sayings which are remembered today. Some of them are:

“You’ve got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your father was.”

“May the roof above us never fall in, and may we friends gathered below never fall out.”

“May the sons of your daughters smile up in your face.”

May God bring good health to your enemies enemies

“There are only two kinds of people in the world, The Irish and those who wish they were.”
